Good things happen to good people. Ashley Hare, a respected New Brunswick nurse with a passion for helping people and desire for a new career in medical aesthetics, made quite an impression on our THMA trainers in Miramichi. Guess where she’s working now?
The pieces fell together for Ashley after the primary care nurse did her research and chose THMA to fulfill a desire for a new work life in medical aesthetics. She took our virtual Foundation Courses in mid-October with the intention to work hard and successfully finish with Course 4: Hands-on Training at Luxe in Miramichi.
“The Foundation Courses with THMA were really thorough and detail-oriented,” said Ashley. “The virtual classes, study guides, and readings/videos were well thought out and very informative! The hands-on training and in depth review really helped to pull everything together and bring the learning from paper to patient.”
Neither Ashley nor THMA clinical trainers Brandy Donald or Kelly Whalen at Luxe knew when they met that the forces that brought them together would have such mutually beneficial results.
“Training went great,” Brandy said. “In fact, this training was extra special because we are happy to announce that Ashley will be joining us at Luxe Medical Aesthetics. She’s a sassy smart local Miramichi girl and is going to fit right in!”
Good Karma
To say that Ashley is excited about joining Luxe Medical Aesthetics would be an understatement!
“Brandy and Kelly are leading the industry in medical aesthetics here in our region and I am so honored to join their team! They both have such an extensive wealth of knowledge and amazing skills, and I am looking forward to learning even more from them as I grow and become more proficient as a nurse injector. The future at Luxe is bright and I am so excited to be a part of it!
Maybe there was some karma at play here. Karma is defined as the relationship between a person’s actions and the consequences that follow. Good intent and good deeds contribute to good karma.
“My passion for helping people feel good about themselves and enhancing their confidence and natural beauty are some main reasons for my interest in medical aesthetics. I was also looking for a more creative outlet to practice as a nurse that is different from a typical clinic setting. Also, as a receiver of medical aesthetics myself, I know the positive impact they have had on my life and I want to share the magic with others who are interested. Plus, the field of medical aesthetics is continuously expanding and evolving so it is exciting to be part of it!”
The Future is Bright
Ashley will be mentoring with Brandy and Kelly at Luxe to build up her skills and confidence in injecting. We strongly recommend that all nurses who complete our CNA-accredited Foundation Courses continue to work on their assessments and techniques in Botox and fillers before taking on their own patients.
“Ongoing mentoring through THMA and with Brandy and Kelly are two strategies to become more comfortable with my new skills. I will be doing three months of hands on mentoring at Luxe with Brandy and Kelly which will allow me to observe and participate in various treatments. And of course, lots and lots of practice!”
Best wishes to Ashley as she launches her new career in medical aesthetics. You’re in good hands at Luxe with Brandy and Kelly guiding you, just as your patients will be in good hands when you begin your practice.
