Acclaimed international speakers and live demonstrations will highlight the THMA Professional Development Symposium in Halifax in September 2023. The weekend event is also a golden opportunity to network with colleagues, trainers and industry reps.
THMA is hosting the two-day Symposium at the Halifax Marriot Harbourfront on Saturday Sept. 16 and Sunday Sept 17. Expert speakers from across Canada and the United States will engage participants with trending techniques and discussions on current issues in medical aesthetics.
Topics will include the use of ultrasound in medical aesthetics, gender dimorphism, treatments for the hands and lower face, laser and light technology, the growth of medical aesthetics, and how to market your business. There will be live demonstrations on PRP treatments, neck rejuvenation and facial assessments. A panel of experts will discuss adverse events such as vascular occlusions and toxin complications.
Admission is $150 for members who have taken THMA training. Guest admission is $250. Click here to Register for our Halifax Professional Development Symposium.
The Halifax symposium will also feature industry exhibitions. We are grateful to their sponsorship of lunch and a Saturday reception. The breaks during and after the Symposium will be for attendees to mingle and network with colleagues, THMA trainers and industry reps.

“I come to these symposiums because THMA Consulting is always on the leading edge of patient safety, which to me is our top priority in nursing. This field is constantly changing so coming here to learn about new evidence-based practices is the best way to keep up-to-date.” – Beverley Postill
“We can share with others doing the same line of work and experiencing the same issues we face on a day-to-day basis. The products are changing, the areas of the face are we are treating are evolving. Symposiums are a great way to connect with fellow colleagues.” – Jacklyn Sudetic
