Why did Karen Kohm travel all the way from Saskatchewan to check out a THMA Consulting ongoing education event in Thornhill? Primarily, it was for the same reason – and the same two words – that many others attended, too.

From a workshop on the challenges facing nursing entrepreneurs to an advisory board on a promising new neurotoxin and lessons learned in a cadaver lab. Yes, there was a wealth of knowledge to scoop up in California and bring home to Canada. All for improving patient safety and service!

First he was a patient model in our Hands-on Mentoring Course. Then he completed the training himself. Now, Corey Akisanya is an injector and medical director in Ottawa. And, we're proud to say, he's a valued member of our THMA training team!

On Wednesdays beginning in January, THMA Consulting will be offering One-on-One Mentoring sessions for Course 3 participants looking to practice and hone their medical aesthetic skills. 

It’s hard to believe my medical aesthetics career began 30 years this month! In reflection, I can credit success to a passion for patient care in this field. But the people who encouraged and supported me at key junctures get my utmost gratitude.
