The THMA Foundation Program in Aesthetic Medicine for Botulinum Toxin A and Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers includes seven Virtual Courses and a Hands-on Training Course with a THMA Clinical Instructor. The program is designed to meet the educational and technical skills required to become a knowledgeable and safe aesthetic medicine provider.
Completion of the Foundation Program will give participants a thorough understanding of facial anatomy as it relates to treatment danger zones, product knowledge, and safe injection techniques. They will also learn the importance of guidelines set forth by regulatory colleges to ensure public safety. THMA also offers continuing education and support to participants as they advance along a career path in aesthetic medicine.
Virtual courses 1-5 are on demand through a private link and accessible at any time. Virtual course recordings get sent after registration. Supported by study guides, resources and access to a clinical trainer to ask questions. This allows the participant to review material at their own pace and time.
