High Level Learning and Networking

Expert presentations, panel discussions and treatment demonstrations highlight the aesthetic medicine education program at a THMA Professional Development Symposium. Attending nurses and physicians also get ample opportunity to network with colleagues in aesthetic medicine and rub shoulders with industry reps and THMA clinical trainers. New and seasoned injectors are very open to exchanging information on patient care, regulation standards and scopes of practice.

“Learning from peers and colleagues at a THMA Symposium is so important. To be a confident provider you have to make sure you stay up to date on techniques and patient safety."  - Kathleen Ursual RPN, NP Medical Niagara

Halifax November 14-15

Following on the great success of Atlantic Professional Development Symposium in 2024, we return to Halifax Convention Centre in November for another two days of exceptional ongoing education in aesthetic medicine. Nurses and physicians from Atlantic Canada are invited to come gather with colleagues, industry reps and THMA clinical trainers from across Canada. We are especially honoured to have Mike Clague from Australia and Julie Kaplan from California speaking at this year's Halifax Symposium. Highlights will include Julie's in-depth discussion of Neuromodulators and Adverse Events while Mike will present his Five Steps to Success through Consultation and Treatment Planning.

Other topics on the agenda now in Halifax include Working Within Your Scope of Practice, Chemical Peels, Laser Technology, Biostim Injectables, Peri-orbital Rejuvenation with NaturaGel, Infection Control Mechanisms, and more. We will have more information soon on presenters and topics, industry exhibitors, registration fees and hotels.
