Face to Face Education in Halifax October 1 2026

Nurses and physicians in the specialty of aesthetic medicine who want to enhance their knowledge and aesthetic injections through a deep understanding of the anatomy are invited to join us on October 1, 2026 for the Halfiax Facial Anatomy Lab. This lab is open to basic and advanced injectors. 

The instructors for the lab are Dr Jeff Downie and Dr Mark Devlin from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

The lab will focus on anatomy, injection techniques and isolating danger zones. 

This high-level education event at the QE11 Surgical Skills Lab in Halifax, Nova Scotia will go well beyond a basic ’ cadaver lab.’

Lab Objectives
  • To improve depth of understanding of Facial Anatomy for the Aesthetic Clinician 
  • To demonstrate specific anatomy relevant to complication risk 
  • To demonstrate injection techniques/materials and to relate these directly to the anatomy of the treated areas 

    In providing this event the following resources/teaching methods will be used: 

  •  Didactic lecture-style teaching 
  • Fresh Frozen cadaveric dissection/demonstration
