Expert educators Angela Haff  RN and Kathryn Woodcock RN will  lead training on THMA Consulting Foundation Courses at Project Skin MD, 1495 West 11th Ave, Vancouver, March 13 – 16.

Course 1: Facial Anatomy in Medical Aesthetics. An in-depth understanding of facial anatomy will allow practitioners to offer safe and precise medical aesthetic injections. Knowledge of surface landmarks and underlying danger zones is essential in risk prevention.

Course 2: Pharmacology, Clinical Assessments and Injection Techniques. Thorough training will give participants the proper tools for safe and successful medical aesthetics practices. Didactic discussions focus on product knowledge, assessments and various injection skills.

Course 3: Hands-on Mentoring. Under direct supervision of an expert trainer, participants who have completed Courses 1 and 2 will learn to assess and perform medical aesthetics procedures on patients with confidence, precision and safety.

Course 4: Business Ethics and Professional Standards. Medical aesthetics practitioners require more than knowledge and skills in their procedures and practices. Legal stipulations, industry guidelines and regulatory standards are measures to ensure success.

Experience and expertise in training will be provided by nursing leaders Angela Haff and Kathryn Woodcock.

It is recommended that new practitioners register for all four courses. Experienced practitioners can also use the in-depth training in Course 1 and Course 4 to augment and enhance current practices.
