We are very excited to pass this news along to nurses and physicians in Eastern Ontario who are pursuing a career in medical aesthetics. THMA Consulting is opening up a clinic in Ottawa to bring hands-on training and mentoring to you!

Exciting news! A THMA Consulting Training and Mentoring Centre in Ottawa

We’re pretty pumped about this, of course. And happy to meet the local demand for in-depth medical aesthetics education.

Participants in our training program have come from Ottawa in the past with many coming to Toronto to train.

Now, we will be able to bring the hands-on component of our training program directly to the nurses and physicians in Eastern Ontario and Quebec who have completed Virtual Training in Foundation Courses. They will also be able to use our new facility for mentoring long after their training is over.

The THMA Consulting Ottawa Training and Mentoring Centre is at Head Office, a modern and collaborative office space that we can use as a medical clinic and training centre, located at 430 Hazeldean Rd in Kanata.

Our doors open for the first time on September 25.

On that first day, Jeanine Harrison will lead training in PRP Treatments and Deoxycholic Acid Treatments, two of THMA Consulting’s Supplementary Courses.

Over the weekend, we will also be teaching Foundation Course 4: Hands-on Training and providing One-on-One Mentoring for three practitioners who wish to sharpen their medical aesthetics skills.

With more people already reaching out to us, we have scheduled a return for two days of One-on-One Mentoring beginning on October 2. We will also be back for more Course 4: Hands-on Training on Dec. 5-6.

The plan is to come to Ottawa for training once every month or two. But we will have local experts there when we aren’t for ongoing mentoring.

Ottawa nurses including Corey and Amanda completed their training in Oct. 2019

Corey Akisanya and Amanda Bastedo, two Ottawa medical aesthetics professionals who received CNA-accredited training from THMA Consulting, will assist with Course 4 training and provide ongoing mentoring.

We also want to host Professional Development Symposiums when the current pandemic subsides. Our Symposiums feature networking opportunities and lectures from leading medical aesthetics professionals on a variety of practical and trending topics.

We take great pride in helping nurses and physicians train properly and enhance professional skills in a safe and ethical manner. That we can provide this service in Ottawa in our own facility really is exciting!
