Virtual Training Today For Aesthetics Leaders Tomorrow

In response to demand for medical aesthetics training while also respecting personal safety during the COVID-19 crisis, THMA Consulting is taking its Foundation Courses online with a comprehensive new package of virtual training courses.

We are very pleased to offer this positive new direction in medical aesthetics training, one that can meet requests for education in a virtual setting that also reflects the realities of social distancing in the outside world.

We are also thrilled the Tennessee Nurses Association will continue to recognize our Foundation Courses 1 and 2 as a “continuing nursing education activity of the highest standard,” meaning participating nurses will receive 5 contact hours for completion of Course 1 and 10 contact hours for completion of Course 2.

The cost for the complete Foundation Courses program, including the Virtual Training and Hands-on Training, is $5500.00 (+ HST).

After registering HERE, new participants will receive a personal invite to join us on Zoom for each individual course. All courses will begin at 12-noon EDT.

Prior to the training participants will receive a comprehensive workbook, research articles and a PDF of the didactic presentation. They will also receive an invitation to join the exclusive Members Forum on Facebook for continuing education and networking.

Supplementary Courses include PRP Treatments, Deoxycholic Acid Treatments, Cannula Injection Techniques and the Collaborative Relationship for Medical Directors and Aesthetic Practitioners.

Foundation Course education will be completed with  two additional days of Course 4: Hands-on and Practical Training.  The schedule for that key component of our training program kicks in in August. See the Course Schedule for dates and locations.

The practical training focuses on the demonstration and application of medical aesthetics knowledge acquired in Course 1 and Course 2.

Tracey’s high standards of training go virtual

These integral sessions will  prepare participants for actual procedures through interactive demonstrations of blood vessel, nerve and muscle knowledge, and through the application of injection techniques on practice models.

With that practical instruction, participants will be able to move on to Foundation Course 3: Hands-on Mentoring with live injections on pre-selected patient models.

Participating nurses who complete the four Foundation Courses will receive certification for 40 credit hours from the Canadian Nurses Association.

This new and positive direction for virtual training comes after two online trials of Courses 1,2 and 3. The feedback after these sessions on Zoom confirmed we can and should continue to offer our medical aesthetics education online.

“Just incredible!”

“Thank you for the wonderful learning opportunities.”

“Zoom is easy to use and the training was concise.”

“I really enjoyed it and now feel much more comfortable.”

Honestly, it was much more effective than we even imagined! A little different, obviously, in that we are not face-to-face with participants.

But with Zoom, participants can still ask questions, and we can maintain that interactive component of the training that enhances the education experience.

We also welcome questions or clarifications through email anytime after the virtual training.
