Two of British Columbia’s most experienced injectors and national leaders in nursing will direct THMA Consulting’s in-depth training in medical aesthetics in Vancouver beginning May 8-11.

We are delighted to welcome aboard Angela Haff RN and Kathryn Woodcock RN.
We’re also happy to offer nurses and physicians on the West Coast an opportunity to develop and hone medical aesthetics skills with expert training from two of the very best in the business.
Angela and Kathryn tell us they are pretty pumped, too!
“I’m very excited about this and feel very fortunate to be part of this program,” said Angela, in Thornhill, Ont., to absorb how-to training knowledge in teaching our Foundation Courses.
“THMA Consulting emphasizes that aesthetics procedures are also medical procedures. Patient safety is so important, and this program really focuses on that.”
THMA Consulting Training: May 8 – 11 at Project Skin MD, 1495 West 11th Ave, Vancouver. Register Here.
Like Angela, Kathryn says she often hears from local medical professionals looking to add aesthetics injection skills to their portfolios or to augment a current practice.
They’ve also heard the frustrations from colleagues who received slapdash training without any follow-up mentoring, and are expected to have the confidence to begin practice right away.
“There’s a growing demand for top quality training in B.C.,” said Kathryn
“The evolving component to the THMA Consulting program will appeal to new and experienced injectors who can grow successful practices through these excellent courses, the ongoing mentoring and the continuous education.”

Kathryn has been a nurse for 38 years, with half that time dedicated to medical aesthetics.
She currently owns and operates her own business, contracting her aesthetics expertise to pharmaceutical companies and cosmetic clinics, such as the Dermal Laser Center in Vancouver (which highlights Kathryn’s extensive experience here).
Angela also has an extensive background in nursing with more than 25 years in aesthetics. In fact, Angela was one of the Canada’s first nurse injectors.
She was a clinical nurse specialist for Restylane® for 15 years, training nurses and physicians on facial fillers. Angela has worked for the past five years as a specialized injector with Skin Project MD in Vancouver, experts in aesthetics medicine and skincare.
The company website exhorts Angela’s “extraordinary talent and commitment to providing an exceptional level of care.”

Angela and Kathryn were both instrumental in founding, and still sit on the board, of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses. That association was established to raise the bar on Standards of Practice for nurse injectors.
Both strongly believe in the merits of education and importance of patient safety.
Angela says she and Kathryn will bring that motivating mindset to the THMA Consulting training program in Vancouver.
“The industry is the most fun you can have in medicine. But it is dynamic, always changing, and that creates a huge need for education through comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring. THMA Consulting is the best!”
The Foundation Courses in THMA Consulting’s Medical Aesthetics Preceptorship and Training Program are accredited by the Canadian Nurses Association.
Nurses who complete the four courses will receive 40 Contact Hours that can be sent to Colleges as confirmation of skill maintenance.
The CNA Accreditation Program upholds standards of quality for continuing professional development for nurses in Canada.
