This virtual Foundation Course on Facial Anatomy will satisfy professional requirements for in-depth education in a virtual setting and with a follow-up practical and hands-on component in person.

In-depth knowledge of the facial anatomy will provide practitioners with the confidence to administer safe and precise medical aesthetic injections. Understanding the surface landmarks and the underlying danger zones is essential for patient safety and decreasing risks of complications.

Course 1 training will also focus on the concept of aging, descent, deterioration and deflation.

This comprehensive and CNA-accredited course is designed for new practitioners as well as experienced practitioners who wish to upgrade or augment current practices. Register Here.

 

Virtual Foundation Course 1. 12PM – 4PM ET. 

Outline:

  1. Concepts and effects of aging including descent, deterioration, deflation, dehydration
  2. Detailed facial anatomy including skeletal, muscular, vascular and nerves
  3. Differences between male and female facial structures
  4. Surface landmarks important to dermal filler and neurotoxin injections
  5. Structures to avoid and preventing complications
  6. Assessment strategies in relation to surface anatomy landmark
  7. The Course will be done on Zoom. Registered participants will receive an invitation to join.

An in-person and advanced review of this course will be completed in Course 4: Practical Skills and Hands-on Mentoring.

We are pleased that Tennessee Nurses Association will continue to recognize our Foundation Courses 1 and 2 as a “continuing nursing education activity of the highest standard,” meaning participating nurses will receive 5 contact hours for completion of Course 1 and 10 contact hours for completion of Course 2.
