This virtual Medical Aesthetics Foundation Course: Facial Anatomy will satisfy professional requirements for in-depth and research-based education in a virtual setting. The virtual components on the Foundation Course is completed with a skilled hands-on component of fillers, neurotoxins and Botox training.

In-depth knowledge of the facial anatomy will provide practitioners with the confidence to administer safe and precise medical aesthetic injections. Understanding the surface landmarks and the underlying danger zones is essential for patient safety and decreasing risks of complications. Course 1 training will also focus on the concept of aging, descent, deterioration and deflation.

This comprehensive and CNA-accredited course is designed for new injectors as well as experienced providers who wish to upgrade or augment current practices. Register Here.

 

Virtual Foundation Course Component 1. 12PM – 4PM ET. 

Outline:

  1. Concepts and effects of aging including descent, deterioration, deflation, dehydration
  2. Detailed facial anatomy including skeletal, muscular, vascular and nerves
  3. Differences between male and female facial structures
  4. Surface landmarks important to dermal filler and neurotoxin injections
  5. Structures to avoid and preventing complications
  6. Assessment strategies in relation to surface anatomy landmark
  7. The Course will be done on Zoom. Registered participants will receive an invitation to join.

THMA Consulting is pleased to have accreditation and national recognition from the Canadian Nurses Association for the Medical Aesthetics Foundation Course for Botulinum Toxin A and Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers. Nurses who complete the Foundation Course training  will receive 40 Credit Hours that can be sent to Colleges as confirmation of skill maintenance. The CNA Accreditation Program upholds standards of quality for continuing professional development for nurses in Canada.

 

The Tennessee Nurses Association also recognizes our Foundation Course as a “continuing nursing education activity of the highest standard,” meaning participating nurses will receive 5 contact hours for completion of Course Component 1 and 10 contact hours for completion of Course Component 2.
