Workshops in PRP and DA Treatments

Three THMA Consulting Supplementary Courses will be offered in a full day of comprehensive workshop training.

The full day workshops will be offered in Markham at 413 Medical Aesthetics, 494 Veterans Dr, Barrie.

Participants can register for one or two workshops. THMA Consulting Members who have successfully completed Foundation Courses training will receive 10% discount for two courses. Course costs are below.

The Workshop in Deoxycholic Acid Treatments will train participants on product knowledge and proper assessments as well as effective injection techniques. The hands-on education on proper procedures will assure the safety and comfort of patients. See Course Outline.

Deoxycholic Acid works to dissolve fatty deposits when injected into the body. DA Treatments are effective in the reduction of submental fat, most commonly in the jawline and under the chin.

The Workshop in Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatments will review unique components of blood product, the action mechanism of plasma and the evidence-based outcomes of the PRP procedure. Course participants must provide their own patient(s) for the hands-on training component of this workshop. See Course Outline.

PRP treatments are popularly used in medical aesthetics practices for the regeneration of skin tissue and restoration of hair follicles.  PRP gives patients more youthful looking skin with improved tone and texture. In hair restoration procedures, PRP works to make follicles stronger and hair thicker.

• DA Workshop – 12pm – 2pm: On and off-label treatments $750.00 (includes product for one patient).
• PRP/Exosomes Workshop – 2pm-6pm: $1500 (includes products for one hair patient and one face patient).
