This is the virtual component of the two-part Supplementary Course on PRP Treatments. The course will conclude with the practical component at an upcoming date.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments are used in medical aesthetics for the regeneration of skin tissue and restoration of hair follicles. With its healing and cell growth capabilities, PRP is quickly growing in popularity in today’s cosmetic practices.
PRP gives patients more youthful looking skin with improved tone and texture. In hair restoration procedures, PRP works to make hair follicles stronger and hair thicker.
For practitioners wishing to add PRP to their current practice, this advanced training program will review unique components of blood product, the action mechanism of plasma and the evidence-based outcomes of the PRP procedure.
The virtual component of this course will include a full didactic discussion of the PRP procedure, the most effective and recommended equipment, procedure techniques and policy development for clinical practice.
Course participants must provide one or two patients for a hands-on mentoring session in the practical component of this course.
